I have been decking the halls. I found my box of giant pinecones that Cheesecake Maven made for us one year and hung them from a piece of gingerbread trim my mom had found in trash heap years back. It is hanging above my patio doors. I think I may add some boughs of evergreen once we get the tree...

OK, I have to take a pic of my sink window and what I did with the giant spray painted Alabama pine cones. But no pressure, right?
I'll take a pic tomorrow, it will probably show about 10 inches of new snow all over the deck! It is snowing, POURING, snow! School is already 2 hours late and I'm sure by the time we're all done, they will call it a full snow day! YEAH!!!!! That means sledding party and hot cocoa, and cookie baking, and a free day with my kids! YIPPEE! Not to mention the extra hours of sleep and coziness. I LOVE SNOW!!!!! Hey, if you have Thanksgiving pics, please send my way!
